Town & Country

If summer vacation transportation is on your mind, let the experienced professionals at Henry Marino’s Town & Country Preowned Auto Mall in Nitro put you behind the wheel.

Located at 400 First Ave., near the foot of the Nitro-St. Albans Bridge, Town & Country Preowned Auto Mall stocks a nice selection of used cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles.

And for those seeking a specific make or model, Town & Country can usually find what you’re looking for, said General Manager Chris Marino.

“We can get pretty close – might take a week or 10 days,” Marino said. “It depends on what they’re looking for.”

For example, if a customer is looking for specific year or model of a Ford Mustang, Town & Country can find it, but it might not be in the customer’s first choice of color.

In fact, at press time, Town & Country had a nice 2018 Ford Mustang convertible on the lot.

Town & Country Preowned Auto Mall has a variety of sources for its inventory, including local trades as well as auto auctions.

Some vehicles are easier to find than others. Chevrolet trucks, for instance, are pretty easy to find for customers.

“Chevrolet trucks are everywhere,” he said.

SUVs remain popular on the used market, as well. Many times, customers looking for an SUV will request such amenities as third row seats for family trips.

“SUVs are more prominent to sell in the fall and winter, but they still sell in the summer and year round.”

Town & Country Preowned Auto Mall can also find passenger vans for customers. Vans are popular vehicles for summer travel, especially for families.

“People look for vans at certain times of the year, if they’re going to the beach or taking other trips,” Marino said. “That’s the vacation vehicle of choice. You can haul the kids, the family and all the luggage.”

Popular van choices include those made by Dodge, Kia, Toyota and Honda. One of the most popular selling vans in recent years was the Chrysler Town & Country, but Marino said that vehicle is no longer being made.

“They still make the Dodge Grand Caravan.”

For those in the market for a nice mid-size sedan, Town & Country has several of them, including a Chrysler 200 sedan and a Dodge Dart.

Customers in the market for a preowned truck can find them at Town & Country. At press time, Town & Country had two trucks with lifted suspensions: a 2016 Chevy Silverado and a 2015 GMC lifted truck.

“Trucks are still big sellers,” Marino said.

Town & Country Preowned Auto Mall has its own service department, which is open to the public for such things as routine maintenance, oil changes, air-conditioning service, brake work and state inspections.

It is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Every vehicle offered for sale at Town & Country is checked out thoroughly in the service department, and each vehicle also comes with a Carfax report that details its ownership and maintenance history.

Town & Country can also help customers with financing by working with a variety of banks and credit unions.

Chris and his father, Henry Marino, have more than 80 years of combined experience in the car business. Customer service and satisfaction is their main goal.
