The leaves are turning, and the temperature is falling. Now might be a good time to slip behind the wheel of a new Ram truck or Jeep from Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram in Hurricane.
With a huge inventory of new vehicles in stock, Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram, which is just off the Hurricane exit of Interstate 64, is offering cool weather deals to customers.
General Manager Ryan Walker said the goal is to move at least 100 new units in November. And there’s plenty to choose from, including Jeep Wranglers and Cherokees and Ram trucks.
Meeting customers’ needs and exceeding their expectations has helped make Walker the number one Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealer in West Virginia.
“With cars on the ground and coming, we’ve got over 400 in the system right now that we need to move. We’re having big sales now to get stuff moving to create space for the incoming new vehicles,” Walker said.
“We’re trying to sell 100 new units in November. With all the inventory we have, we have a huge selection of stuff,” he said. “If we don’t have it here, it probably doesn’t exist. Our variety right now is second to none.”
Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram has plenty of 2019 models in stock as well as a good selection of remaining 2018 models.
“The ’18 leftovers have the great rebates on them,” he said. “There’s rebates on the ‘19s, but there’s bigger rebates on the ‘18s right now.”
Walker said Ram trucks remain among the dealership’s strongest sellers.
“We’re the number one truck dealer in the state. And we’re the number one overall Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealer in the state,” he said.
The Ram for 2019 is completely redesigned.
“If it’s not the Truck of the Year, I’ll be shocked.”
Ram trucks have broad appeal, Walker said.
“They’re taking over the market. You’ve got people trading in high-end luxury cars on these new trucks. No truck manufacturer finishes their interiors as good as what Ram does.”
Walker said Ram trucks are good for a night on the town, and they’re just as at home at a work site.
“It’s become that type of vehicle.”
If buying a pre-owned vehicle is your goal, Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram maintains a great selection of quality used cars, trucks and SUVs.
The dealership buys very few used vehicles at auctions, “because we get such nice trade-ins. I’d say 95 to 97 percent of the inventory on the used car lot is all trade-ins.”
The dealership also offers Certified Pre-Owned Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram products, as well.
Heading into fall and winter means customers are looking at four-wheel-drive vehicles, and Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram has them in abundance.
“Other than the sports cars and the minivans, everything else we’ve got down here is four-wheel-drive. We’re the prime location to prepare for winter.”
Jeeps, especially, are made to order for winter driving.
“It’s a great time of year to take advantage of buying a Jeep. We’ve got big incentives on them, and they’re amazing in bad weather.”
The Jeep Cherokee is number one with Walker’s customers.
“We sell more Cherokees by volume than any other Jeep. The second one would be the (Jeep) Wrangler.”
The Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram sales staff is highly trained in all product lines and is eager to help customers choose the right vehicles.
“They know these vehicles inside and out,” Walker said.
A new addition to the Walker Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram staff is Butch Crittenden, who is the new car manager. He’s been with dealership owner Gene Walker, who also owns Walker Chevrolet in Nitro, for many years. Prior to coming to the Chrysler dealership, Crittenden was at Walker Chevrolet.
“I’ve been with Gene and Ryan for 14 or 15 years,” Crittenden said. “They’re like family. They’ve trained me from day one.”
